Why We Started in 2024
We founded I9 Sports in 2024 after seeing too many families face the same quiet, stressful moment: their child wanted to play, but the registration fees just weren’t in the budget. No parent should have to tell a child they can’t join their friends on the team because of money. So we built a youth sports nonprofit organization to close that gap — quietly, respectfully, and for good. What began as a simple idea has become a mission to make sure opportunity is never priced out of reach.
